Indian Oil secured a thrilling victory over Mumbai Customs in the 17th edition of the DY Patil T20 Cup match at the DY Patil Stadium. Prithvi Shaw and Yashasvi Jaiswal played blistering knocks to chase down a target of 195 runs, winning by three wickets. Shaw scored 42 runs off 26 balls, including three fours and four sixes, while Jaiswal contributed 31 runs off 14 balls, hitting four fours and two sixes.

In another match, Shardul Thakur’s impressive performance helped Tata Sports Club defeat Air India by three wickets. Thakur took three wickets for 26 runs, playing a crucial role in his team’s victory.

The match between Mumbai and Kerala in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy saw Mumbai off to a solid start in their pursuit of a daunting target of 260 runs. At the end of the third day, Mumbai were 41 for no loss after bowling out Kerala for 237 in their second innings. Musheer Khan, Atharva Ankolekar, and Himanshu Singh took three wickets each to restrict Kerala’s total.

In the U-14 West Zone League, Saad Khan made an impressive debut for the Mumbai team, taking five wickets for 39 runs to bundle out Saurashtra for 141 in their first innings. Mumbai ended the day at 178 for 5 in their second innings.

The MI Junior inter-school tournament concluded with Sharadashram Vidyamandir (U-15 girls), SVIS Borivali (U-14 boys), and Anjuman Islam CST (U-16 boys) emerging as the winners.

The Insurance Shield T20 inter-office tournament saw Mumbai Police Gymkhana and Chougule Sports Club securing comfortable victories in their respective matches. Mumbai Police Gymkhana defeated Dream Mills XI by six wickets, while Chougule SC beat Bank of India by 50 runs.
